Shot in 2004 at Rock City in Nottingham. ‘Rocked on Klassix’ was a vehicle for violinist Oliver Lewis and music producer Dave Williams which by 2007 became the Deviations Project. Back in 2004 Oliver was appearing in the live dance musical show ‘Spirit of the Dance’, which Dave was musical director for. A couple of of dancers from “Spirit of the Dance’ were recruited to dance along with Ryan Williams (Dave’s son) on drums, a session bass player (forgive me for not recalling his name) and Maureen (Ryan’s mum) attended to costume and choreography. Jon Walmsley and I had a lot of fun shooting this not withstanding the odd wardrobe malfunction that didn’t make it to the final cut.
